Tim's Place in France will be opening in November 2010. It will operate as a holiday house. It has 3 bedrooms which can accommodate 6 people. There is a large formal lounge room, a kitchen, the large master bedroom, a small bedroom, 2 smaller bedrooms overlooking the Charente River, and the bathroom.

The house is situated in the middle of the village of Vertueil sur Charente in the region of La Charente. It is in the South West of France between Paris and Bordeaux. From Paris it takes 2hours 15 minutes by the TGV(very fast train). It is less than 2 hours from Bordeaux by the TGV. The trains stop at Ruffec and it is 6km by taxi to Vertueil.

The walk of St James de Compestella passes through the village. There are many other walking trails in and around the village. The village is surrounded by many forests and pretty French farmland. It is in a region known as the 3 valleys and the medieval village is officially classified as "one of the beautiful villages of France". Bakeries, a pub, a traditional french bar, restaurants, a general store supply the village. Bookings will be for a minimum of one week duration.
