This place is nothing like other backpacker hostes that I have seen. We were treated more like guests in a luxury resort. I love the amazing location at the foothills and the hospitality shown by Tim. I am absolutely sure that I am coming back to the Grampians and staying here!

Dear Tim,
This is a place where I could actually stay for at least one week. But sadly we just got one night and we have to move on. We really enjoyed it here. You feel more like at home and not like in a backpackers.
You're a really nice guy and I'll recommend your place.

We(55 years old) thought we had seen the best YHA and backpackers already. If we rated previous hostels with three stars then this place is five star accommodation. Beautiful surroundings and a nice place to be. Unfortunately we promised relatives to be there tomorrow, otherwise we would have stayed another few days.

What can I say, it's been BONZA! Never thought I'd see so many animals here and the re growth after the fire is beautiful. Thanks Betty and Tim for being wonderful hosts, it really is a home away from home!

Great to make it back to Tim's Place where it all began for us! The hostel looks a little different but still warm, friendly and inviting! Thanks for helping us celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary at the place where we first met. Tim's Place always holds a special place in out heart. Thanks Tim for the lovely toast, it meant a lot to us. Hope to be back to celebrate another anniversary - maybe our 25th!

Keep up the great work with running the best little hostel on Earth. You and Betty and all the guests made me feel at home during my stay. I even got the best night's sleep I've had in weeks. There must be some magic between the Grampians and Tim's Place!
